New at Listen & Learn Plus!

Remember that custom song, What You Mean To Me (A-Z), that I shared with you recently?  Well as it turns out, Rene (the teacher who came up with the concept for her students) isn’t the only one who could use such a song in her classroom.

Alliterative Adjective Song for Students

Listen & Learn Plus members can download the lead sheet (lyrics and chords) and instrumental track in order to create their very own version of my alliterative adjective song for students.  And soon I’ll be posting a video that shows them how to lengthen or shorten the instrumental track to make it the perfect length for their individual needs.  Get in on the fun for only $7 per month…learn more about becoming a member today!

I logged on to find the blog about “What You Mean to Me” …and wow…there it was as today’s post! I wanted to tell Rachel what an incredible gift she has given my students, but then decided I should tell EVERYONE who subscribes! When I introduced this song by telling them Ms. Rachel wrote us another song, they could not wait to hear it. To say they loved it does not even begin to capture what they felt. My students are from a demographic that is quite harsh and they do not always have the love and attention my own children received. They will never, never forget that someone wrote a song about them. Ok, the the most purely innocent response…”bubbly, beautiful, Briana” looked at me and said how does she know? It’s true I am!” And she is…thank you Rachel for this priceless gift of love, encouragement, validation, and community/ relationship building experience! I plan to get a new version every year…but I can also shorten it to just one student for student of the week, or birthdays and other special occasions. AND…talk about increasing vocabulary! We love you!

Thank you, Rene, for sharing with everyone!! I’m so happy that the song provided such a positive experience for your students and can’t wait to record a new one next year :) All I know is that the teacher they have next year has some pretty big shoes to fill. I think you are amazing, and I’m sure the rest of the L&L readers would agree!!
