Music Therapy Tunes

Margie La Bella, a music therapist and educator, manages Music Therapy Tunes has 6 new music therapy Halloween songs that are good for all types of learners on her YouTube channel. There are new activities up as well as a new free song accessible on the music page. Margie plans to share several Thanksgiving songs next month. She is also looking for people to exchange links with and send in new music activities for her lessons and lyrics page, so contact her if you’re interested in doing so.

Make Me Musical

More With Music is a song resource website where parents, teachers, and therapists can find songs to help teach the students in their lives.  Amanda Ellis is a music therapist who manages More with Music, and also stays busy as a full time Music Therapist for a public school system in North Carolina.  Amanda works with a wide variety of students with disabilities within their special education classrooms.  She sees students ages Pre-K through high school. You won’t want to miss upcoming Mondays over at More with Music!  Starting Monday, November 7th, Amanda will be “Moving Around the World” with songs to teach about each of the 7 continents!  Each Monday, there will be a new song about one of the seven continents.  These songs are a great way to introduce and supplement your teachings about geography in the classroom.  Forget about manic Mondays, you’ll be too busy learning about the seven continents!
