I’m really glad I wrote this song (and this one, too) — because that means I don’t have to write them next year! Now that I have tunes dedicated to Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, I can reuse them each year and focus on creating new tribute videos.
Thinking ahead to next year, a fun way to incorporate these songs into music therapy sessions, lessons, or even classroom projects would be to record your students singing them as gifts to their parents. I did this with a few of my students and not only did we have a ball, but their parents were over the moon!
