Thinking back to my years working in a school, I can still hear that old “Days of the Week” song haunting my brain. You probably know it, too: this one is set to the tune of the theme song for The Addams Family and even includes the snapping.
Don’t get me wrong…it’s a GREAT tune for teaching the days of the week. But I’m all about changing things up from time to time, especially when it comes to the topics we sing about every single day. Not only is it refreshing for the children with whom we work, but it helps us keep our sanity ;)
Seven Days in a Week doesn’t involve any organized snapping or other choreography, but it is a pretty bouncy little number, so feel free to dance along!
