So last week, I sit down to record my new song but find myself sidetracked by Facebook (imagine that). At the top of my news feed, I see that my friend (and Listen & Learn Plus! member) Meryl Brown has posted on her page for her music therapy business, Developing Melodies:

I couldn’t help but laugh, because the title of the song I was getting ready to record was Thunder & Raindrops. I commented that those natural sound effects would fit my tune perfectly, but alas, I had to stick with pre-recorded thunderstorm sounds since it was perfectly clear in my neck of the woods.
Luckily, you don’t need thunder and rain sound effects to perform this song — that’s what rhythm sticks are for! Of course, you could substitute all kinds of instruments, so use your creativity to create your own thunderstorm.
