The Introvert's Guide to Thriving in an Extroverted Career | Continuing Music Therapy Education Course

Raise your ukulele if you’re an introvert.

Yep, me too.

And it wasn’t until I shared a blog post about my introverted tendencies that I discovered how many other music therapists out there identify as such.

That’s when I knew I had to share my experiences, advice, and strategies for succeeding in a career that often requires a great deal of social interaction, the need to be “on”, and in many cases, very little downtime.

The Introvert's Guide to Thriving in an Extroverted Career | Continuing Music Therapy Education Course

We serve as therapists to our clients, colleagues to fellow professionals, leaders to students and interns, and educators to our community. All of these relationships and opportunities for communication can become overwhelming for music therapists with introverted personalities.

This course provides an arsenal of strategies to help introverts best harness their energy and avoid social burnout, both inside and outside of the clinic.

Coming September 5, 2017
