Working with children feels just a little more fun and magical during the month of December, do you agree? The anticipation of the holiday season seems to put everyone into a cheerful mood, and I love all the repertoire that goes along with this time of year.
Admittedly, I am one of those people who starts listening to holiday music in early November, so it’s hard for me to wait until after Thanksgiving to bring out many of the songs included in next month’s session plan.
For the month of December, I’m incorporating jingle bells, ukulele, and plenty of opportunities for welcoming winter, counting, singing familiar seasonal songs, and much more.
