As I shared with you at the beginning of September, I’ve been prioritizing self-care this month (with no plans to stop doing so anytime soon). To be completely honest, this has been easier said than done; I have a LOT on my plate right now, and at times it is temping to let my self-care practices slide in favor of completing other to-dos on my list.
I’m thankful that I was able to take part in Ami Kunimura’s 5-Day Self-Care Challenge this week, which provided me with support and accountability as I focused on practicing self-care. The daily videos and exercises helped me dive deeper into why self-care is so essential in my life right now, and I loved getting to hear from the other challenge participants as they shared their insights each day.
Many of you expressed the need to prioritize self-care in your own lives right now, which is why I am so excited to share that enrollment for Ami’s 31-credit CMTE experience, RESILIENCE OVER BURNOUT: A SELF-CARE PROGRAM, is open now.
I had the opportunity to enroll in this program two years ago, and will be going through it again this fall thanks to having lifetime access. It’s often when you don’t have the time for self-care that you need it most. I’m in that place right now, and if you’re feeling that way too, then I encourage you to consider RESILIENCE OVER BURNOUT for yourself.
This program will help you to gain the self-care knowledge and tools you need for burnout prevention as well as implement long-term change and sustainable self-care — not just short term relief. I was nearing total professional burnout when I first enrolled in the program, but I’ve been able to use the techniques Ami teaches to get back to and stay in a healthy place both personally and professionally.
Not only am I a student of RESILIENCE OVER BURNOUT, but I’m honored to be an affiliate partner, as well. My community is made up of music therapists, educators, and other helping professionals, all of whom are prone to burnout, consistent stress, or compassion fatigue. This program was designed with you in mind, and I want you to benefit from it in the same way that I have.
My Enrollment Bonus For You

The Introvert’s Guide to Thriving in an Extroverted Career
Music therapy is a profession that requires a great deal of interpersonal communication. We serve as therapists to our clients, colleagues to fellow professionals, leaders to students and interns, and educators to our community.
All of these relationships and opportunities for communication can become overwhelming for music therapists with introverted personalities. After 10 years of trial and error, learning to find a balance between interaction and solitude as a practicing music therapist, I felt called to share my experiences with my fellow introverts.
This online self-paced audio course is a holistic approach to achieving success and happiness in a career that often requires a great deal of social interaction and energy. The main content of the course focuses on mindset, habits, and strategies to help you best utilize your superpowers as an introvert in your professional life.
If you choose this option, you will receive immediate access to the course materials. Learn more about this course here.
Innovative Income for Music Therapists: Beyond Direct Service & Private Practice
As music therapists, we are trained to provide direct service to a variety of populations in a multitude of environments. The work we do with our clients and patients requires the use of two precious limited resources: time and energy. Many music therapists experience compassion fatigue, physical exhaustion, and burnout as a result of overextending themselves in the clinical setting.
How can we apply our music therapy expertise in ways that not only help us to conserve those resources, but are also profitable? Innovative Income for Music Therapists: Beyond Direct Service & Private Practice combines my own experiences with those of other trailblazing music therapists to illustrate the virtually endless ways in which to generate revenue using your unique training, knowledge and skills.
This course is scheduled to be released in early November. If you choose this option, you will receive sneak peeks and bonus materials leading up to the official launch, and then you’ll get full access on launch day.
