Let’s Get Social! is focused on fostering social skills and social development. Alisabeth Hopper will be facilitating a musical experience with drumming, songwriting, listening, and discussion. These experiences will come together to promote group cohesion, interaction, and awareness of others which skills can be applied to daily life. This class runs for 8 weeks, and each session is 30 minutes in length.
All classes are held at Music Therapy Connections, located at 1234 Centre West Drive, Springfield, IL 62704.
Alisabeth Hopper grew up in Roodhouse, Illinois where she began her interest in music. By age fourteen she had devoted most of her time to performing with piano, guitar, flute, and voice. Alisabeth is attending Western Illinois University where she is seeking to complete her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Therapy with an internship at Music Therapy Connections.
