Guitars & Granola Bars Podcast: Episode 9 // Christina Stock

In Episode 9 of the Guitars & Granola Bars podcast, I’m chatting with music therapist Christina Stock. Christina shares her journey through perinatal depression and birth-related PTSD, how she handles the “work-life wobble”, and the importance of building a local community of support.

Meet Christina

Christina Stock is a full time mama and part time music therapist. She graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Music with a concentration in ethnomusicology from The University of Texas at Austin in 2005 and her Master’s degree in Music Therapy from Texas Woman’s University in 2009. Christina has been a music therapist for a little over five years and has worked as a music therapy subcontractor, in a pediatric hospital setting, and currently works at an adult cancer center in Dallas.
