Want to read Part 2 of my “Adventures in Songwriting” series? Well then you’ll have to scoot on over to Wade Richards’ blog, Time for Music! There you can read all about the process I use to write my songs — and check out all of Wade’s great articles and music therapy resources.
So what are you still doing here? Go read Adventures in Songwriting: My Process and feel free to share the process that works best for you. Oh, and if you missed Part 1, you can find it here.
Hi Rachel,
I’d love to hear more about the iphone and the humming. I don’t have an iphone and I hear so much about them. How the phone makes your work flow, etc… would be great info for someone like me:)
Thanks.
Thank you, Susan, for giving me a topic for tomorrow’s “Friday Fave” post! I will talk all about the apps I use on my iPhone during the songwriting process, as well as others I find helpful.
I’ve been using Wade’s music for a little while now – I love his stuff. I’m happy to have finally joined listen&learn too!
Also, before I got my iPhone, I still used my cell phone to record my song ideas. I think just about all cell phones these days have some sort of voice memo.
