Hi Rachel! I found your site by searching for some articles on how music can help inhance a childs learning ability. I am trying to find some reliable sources for my paper I have to write for my English/101 course. Would you be willing to share anything with me as far as any articles or documents you might have?
I have sat here with my boys and listened to a few of your songs about fall. They are so great!!! I truely believe that music is a MUST for a childs learning experience. I know that, I only know how to spell Valentine by singing the song I learned in grade school that goes something like “won’t you be my v-a-l-e-n-t-i-n-e?” or something like that. :) This is proof that music and learning go hand in hand. I am an aspiring elementary school teacher and would really appreciate your help.
    Thank You,
    Crystal Reynolds

Rachel, Thank-you so much for sharing your songs so freely. I have been a music teacher for 9 years professionally, and now I’m homeschooling my little ones and teaching a homeschool co-op for them, but I am out of my league when it comes to the very little ones. I can’t wait to teach them the Wiggle song this week!!!

    Thank-you so much!
    Warmly,
    Lori in Philadelphia

    Hi Rachel,
I found your site from completing a search on “Is Your Mama A LLama?”
I am a Speech Pathologist and I work with Preschool kids. I love the language and speech connection in your music. Anytime, you can get the kids to “grasp” the concepts through music, I believe those concepts will stay with the kids!
    Thanks!
I love your song, “There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed Fly”

Hi, Rachel. I’m a 15-year veteran music teacher, who has gone back to college to study music therapy. This semester is my last, then internship! So glad I found your site, and I’ve already downloaded several things to use in my clinicals, etc. Thanks for all the wonderful music and information you share!

I found your web-site when searching for Color Songs. I am a Speech Language Pathologist and use songs to teach Pre-Schoolers, children on the spectrum and the severe and profound population. I look forward to using your season songs and any monthly themes you put together. My children really do benefit from language concepts and steps to life skills broken down and explained through music with important repeating lines embedded within a song. Thank you for your gift of music. It really does help.

    Hi Rachel,
Thank you for your lovely songs. I am teaching Kindergarten in Australia this year and have downloaded a couple to use…I am sure I will return for more as the year progresses. The lyrics are great and the music and vocal work is so clear :)

I like your cold weather song I heard on you tube. I teach Kindergarten and we are all pent up inside for this week. I prefer it this way rather than bundling up 4 non English students who don’t want to go outside anyway.

Thanks Ed! I hear ya…it’s way too cold for little ones, even with the warmest winter apparel. Stay warm and thank you for checking out my tunes!

Hi Rachel, I’m a Recreational Therapist who uses music as a modality with my residents. I am hoping to find some suggestions of types of songs that I might be able to use with them. They are DD and often have fun with the music that I have found that is recorded as well as the music that I have learned to play on my ukulele. I have worked with many RMT-BCs in the past and know that I have always appreciated their input to my sessions. I am looking forward to seeing what I might be able to to glean from yours expertise =)
