Update from Rachel Rambach | Listen & Learn Music

It’s been a month. Between launching a new course, starting a new early childhood music class session, and restarting a podcast, I needed some content creation downtime. As a result, the crickets have taken over around here…womp, womp, womp.

BUT — they got their eviction notice today, because I finally feel ready to get back to writing and sharing. Just this week, I added a few new songs to the store, and it felt GOOD. I can’t tell you how much I missed the songwriting and recording process, since to be honest, I did almost none of that over the summer.

As much as I loved creating my Introvert’s Guide course, it took up just about all of my creative energy. I was thrilled at how well it was received, and equally thrilled to get back to my roots after the enrollment period ended.

I took a week to myself once the course launch was over to spend some time thinking about how I want to spend my working hours, which projects I want to pursue, and what the future of Listen & Learn Music might look like.

I’m the kind of person who gets bored easily, who is always searching for a new challenge; that’s how the Introvert’s Guide came to be. I’m sure I will step out of the box every now and again to create something completely different, but writing, recording, and sharing songs with you will always be my first love.

All it took was the task of writing one new song for me to realize that THIS is how I want to spend my time — and hello! — it shouldn’t have come as much of a surprise. There’s a reason I’ve been doing it for 10 years now.

So I’ll keep writing songs and sharing snapshots of my life here on the blog, and I’ll keep thanking you for listening, subscribing, purchasing, and reading (even when I disappear for weeks at a time).

More on what else I’ve been up to soon…in the meantime, I’d love to hear what’s up in your world lately. Leave a comment, send me an email, or comment in the L&L Facebook group and let me know.
