When I first subscribed to Apple Music, I did it purely for work purposes. My students and clients were constantly asking to learn or listen to songs that I didn’t have in my iTunes, and I wasn’t a fan of pulling up the YouTube video as an alternative.
So I paid $9.99 each month to have full access to Apple’s entire music library, and quickly realized it would come in handy outside of my studio, too.
I’m pretty sure my kids benefit most from my subscription, since they play DJ when we’re at home or in the car. We rotate pretty regularly between the soundtracks to Moana, Trolls, and Tangled with a little Taylor Swift thrown in for good measure.
But I get plenty of use out of it when I’m alone, too. Thanks to Apple Music, I’m constantly discovering new music and expanding my musical tastes.
It also comes in handy when I want relaxing instrumental music while I’m working, upbeat songs during my workout, or meditation tracks to accompany my practice.
I’m grateful to have access to an endless music library for a reasonable monthly price, especially when it benefits so many areas of my life on a daily basis.
