Halloween is still a week away, which gives you plenty of time to share a few spooky (and not-so-spooky) tunes with your students or even your own children.
I’ve gotten plenty of use out of my Halloween song collection throughout the month of October, and wanted to make it readily available to you — which is why it’s now on sale for $5. Take a listen to the songs below:
To take advantage of the Halloween Week discount, just click “Buy” and pay securely using PayPal or a credit card. You can bet I’ll be singing these songs like crazy over the next seven days, before it’s tune to bust out the turkey tunes!
Not sure what you use as props for your “What Color Is Your Ghost?” song, but it would go perfectly with a Halloween staple of mine for the last several years. Each year, I have my students make “ghosts” to play and use for my opening and closing songs during their last session before Halloween. Each child chooses a scarf and an egg shaker. They put the scarf over top of the egg and tie a loose knot in the scarf underneath- voila a ghost! We also sometimes put them in the middle of my parachute and “mash them up” along to “The Monster Mash.”
Great minds think alike! I use colored scarves, but had not thought to tie them over an egg shaker. Brilliant! Thanks for the great idea, Sarah :)
Happy Tuesday! Will you still be my music therapist when the Rangers beat the Cards in the W. Series? How about a friendly “deal.” If the Rangers win, you sing “The Claw” on your Sunday Sing Along; if the Cards win you sing….do the Cardinals have a song? Ok, better yet…if the Rangers win you sing “The Texas Pledge Song” and if the Cardinals win AND if they don’t have a song…you write one and sing it? Have a super great day from your biggest fan in Texas.
You know, because I like you so much, I can overlook our differences when it comes to baseball. Just remember, today is a new day — the Rangers haven’t won YET! But I think your proposal is a fair one, and I will take you up on it. What a fun challenge, writing a song for the Cardinals :D You have a super great day, too! (Oh, and your CDs are in transit!)
