Every December, Music Therapy Connections (my private practice and teaching studio) hosts a winter recital for all of our clients and students. It’s is always such a wonderful event, and this year’s definitely did not disappoint.

I had so much fun putting together a video featuring many of our students’ performances, along with messages from students and staff about their experiences at MTC, especially during this time of year.

We shared LOTS of photos and videos from the recital over on Instagram account, and created a story highlight where you can see all of them. Everyone did such a wonderful job, and we couldn’t be more proud of our students!

The winter recital always feels like the official kick-off of the Christmas season at MTC. We continued the celebration this week with our company Christmas party, which featured a pretty epic white elephant exchange and ugly sweater contest.

It was a pretty great night; not only did I get to celebrate with my awesome team, but I got a super fun Broadway musicals puzzle as my gift AND won 2nd place in our ugly sweater contest :)

Although the big holiday events at MTC are over, there is still a lot of music-making going on between now and Christmas. We still have two weeks left of our holiday-themed early childhood, preschool and elementary music classes, and lessons/music therapy sessions continue all the way up to Christmas Eve.
